Events and programs will connect business and culture through festivals, expos, and shared public spaces. Art and design will celebrate Western Sydney’s heritage while creating a modern, global identity.
Central Park will be the heart of Bradfield City – its main civic space and the welcoming point for visitors as they step out of the Metro Station. It honours the rich cultural heritage of local Traditional Custodians and features public art as a backdrop for cultural events, creating a vibrant space that will connect people.

Bradfield City Arts and Culture Advisory Panel ROI now open
The Advisory Panel provides expert strategic and project advice on cultural infrastructure, public art, programming and activation in Bradfield City.

Bradfield Development Authority (BDA) established an Arts and Culture Advisory Panel (Panel) in June 2023 with six members who shared their expertise and valuable insights into public art commissions and activation with Bradfield City. BDA is seeking experienced arts and culture practitioners (10+ years) who bring deep sector knowledge and strong connections to Western Sydney.
Applicants must complete Part B as this forms the Response form.

Astrophysicist and science communicator Dr Kirsten Banks hosted the Women Who Launch event, showcasing the innovations of women in STEM.
Eight local university students form the STEAM Council, bringing innovative perspectives to activate Bradfield City.

A vibrant cultural calendar
Bradfield City's inaugural creative producer program involves a series of free events and activations that celebrate Western Sydney’s artistic community.
Delivered by leading youth arts organisation PYT Fairfield, the creative producer program is embedding arts and culture into the city’s development and connecting creative industries with manufacturing and innovation.
It provides opportunities for established and emerging Western Sydney artists to showcase their work, and celebrates the region’s creative potential.
The Tinker Tours are interactive workshops led by multi-disciplinary creatives that make complex STEM ideas approachable and exciting through creative practice.
The Bradfield City STEAM Council brings together eight young university students in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics), to play a central role in activating the city through events and experiences that blend innovation, creativity, and community engagement.
