The Community Open Day will give visitors the chance to explore Australia’s first new city in 100 years, with hands on activities, interactive experiences and live entertainment for all ages. Families can learn more about how Bradfield City is being planned and delivered, while also discovering the opportunities taking shape across the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
Guided tours of the First Building and the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF) will be available, alongside a range of activities for younger visitors, including the Bradfield City Minecraft experience in the Discovery Centre, designed to make learning about cities, sustainability and STEM fun and engaging.
Bradfield City partners and local organisations will also be on site, sharing information about projects and opportunities across the region. Stallholders include Western Sydney International Airport, Water NSW, Transport for NSW, WEM Civil, Liverpool City Council, Muru Mittigar Nursery, Superloop, and Plenary.
More than 1,000 people registered to attend the inaugural Bradfield City Community Open Day in 2025, with space for more visitors this year.
"As Australia’s first new city in 100 years, Bradfield City in being built for the community, and we’re excited to share everything that is happening," Ken Morrison, Bradfield Development Authority CEO says, "This open day is a great chance for families to come out, have some fun and see what’s taking shape."
The Bradfield City Community Open Day 2026 is hosted by the Bradfield Development Authority in partnership with Sydney Metro and Transport for NSW.
